About Amanda
As a consultant, Amanda’s practical experience in nonprofit management, fundraising, and leadership makes her a trusted resource for organizations looking to grow and thrive. Her workshops and coaching sessions are designed to equip teams with the knowledge and tools they need for sustainable success. Amanda’s insights into nonprofit governance and strategic planning have empowered organizations to build stronger boards, create actionable plans, and foster lasting relationships.
Amanda Fontaine brings over 20 years of fundraising experience, having served as Executive Director of a nonprofit. Her influence extends beyond that, as she has contributed her expertise to numerous other nonprofits, serving on the board of directors and holding key roles in over 30 organizations. Amanda has also developed leadership training programs for three different chambers of commerce, serving as President for two of them, and served as a mentor for Leadership Mississippi, further demonstrating her commitment to cultivating future leaders.
Amanda is a trainer for the Ten Minute Trainer Network and is a certified Excellence in Action trainer for the Mississippi Alliance of Nonprofits and Philanthropy, where she has led numerous workshops. Additionally, she developed and administered the Nonprofit Professionals Fundraising Executive Program for the organization
She earned her MBA from Delta State University, where she later taught management and marketing classes, sharing her knowledge and expertise with future business leaders. Her teaching experience deepened her understanding of business dynamics, further enriching her ability to guide organizations toward growth and sustainability.
Her accomplishments reflect her deep dedication to community service and leadership. She has been honored as one of the Mississippi Business Journal’s Top 50 Women in Business and the Mississippi Delta’s Top 50 Women in Business and received the American Advertising Federation Silver Medal Award. She has also been recognized by the International Who’s Who of Professional and Business Women, was an Empowering Progressive Women’s Association honoree and was named Woman of Distinction by the Girl Scouts of Greater Mississippi.
